		JON MCINNES PRACTICE MANAGER & ASSOCIATE Jon McInnes is committed to improving our systems and ensuring we exceed our clients expectations. Jon deals with the same issues many of our firm's clients do on a daily basis such as managing cash flow and debtors, motivating the team and ensuring we run a profitable business. “I use the skills I have developed as Practice manager to help our clients to run better and more profitable businesses.” Jon has over 12 years experience working with a diverse range of businesses and their owners. Jon joined the practice in 2007 and will become a Partner in 2012. He was fortunate enough to obtain over 5 years “big firm” experience, reporting to a Senior Taxation Partner, at BDO Chartered Accountants, a large second tier firm whilst undertaking his University studies part-time. “This was the opportunity of a lifetime where I gained invaluable experience working on a portfolio of large business groups and high net worth families. I have then applied this experience to my portfolio of clients at Harvest Accounting that I manage.” Jon successfully manages a substantial portfolio of clients. He has developed and grown his client base significantly during his time at Harvest Accounting. Jon has been a driving force behind the impressive growth of our client base in recent years.” I am passionate about working closely with our clients to provide them with leading edge tax planning strategies and proactively helping them to build better and more profitable businesses.” “I enjoy challenging our clients and taking them out of their comfort zone – our goal at Harvest Accounting is to provide innovative solutions for our clients to help minimise the amount of tax they pay and build their wealth outside of their business.” “I enjoy visiting my clients on a regular basis and ‘rolling my sleeves up’ to come up with innovative solutions to help them overcome problems.” Jon is a qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of NSW (Accounting major) and is a Registered Tax Agent. He also enjoys sporting endeavours, completing the Australian Ironman Triathlon at Port Macquarie four times and playing soccer. 		SUZANNE WASHINGTON SENIOR CLIENT MANAGER Suzanne is responsible for the ongoing management of a diverse portfolio of established business clients and high net worth family groups. Suzanne has worked with many of her clients since commencing with the firm in 2001, from initial start up stage right through to the successful and profitable sale of their businesses in many cases. Suzanne has over 22 years practical experience working with small to medium sized enterprises. She explains, “I adopt a “hands on” approach to providing my clients with taxation & accounting support throughout the year. I want to see my clients do well in their businesses – they deserve it. I am here to help support them in their journey”. Over time, Suzanne has also obtained an extensive 'practical' taxation and accounting knowledge in a variety of firms. “I enjoy visiting my clients regularly throughout the year, whether it be helping them with their quarterly BAS returns and compliance requirements or meeting with their bank to present a cash flow forecast to help them obtain finance to grow for their business.” Recently, Suzanne negotiated with the ATO to refund over $8k in interest penalties imposed on one of her clients. This involved sending off numerous letters to the ATO and then actively following up with phone calls and emails until we got the right result - "It was a great win for our client". Suzanne's interests include traveling around the world and taking on challenges such as climbing Mera Peak. Strengths: Suzanne has a practical hands on approach to helping clients solve business problems - by providing real solutions. With over 22 years of experience in the profession, Suzanne is an integral part of our team. 		MARK PINHORN PRINCIPAL Mark enjoys working with his business clients and focuses on helping them with taxation matters, business growth, marketing and management strategies. He has been involved in a number of successful businesses and property developments. Mark's focus is using his entrepreneurial approach in helping Harvest Accounting clients to build better and more profitable businesses. Mark has a special interest in business succession planning and wealth creation using property and smart tax structuring vehicles. "I have been in business for over 15 years. I see myself as a business man first and foremost - it just happens to be that my business is an accountancy practice. Many of my clients came on board 15 years ago and I have been their partner in business in many cases from start up right through to the profitable side of their business and retirement."
